Balloon Cuts is a family-run business based out of San Jose, Ca. We have been in business since 2000.
When you walk in the door, the first thing you notice is the color. We have bright decor on the walls, the floor, and the ceiling to keep the little ones engaged. A playhouse, books, toys and room to play gives them plenty to do if there is a wait.
The older kids enjoy our big screen TV playing the latest Disney movies and our video games. We also have a gumball machine, mechanical cars to ride, and a jump house on Saturdays.
Lollipops are always a big hit and balloons are available on request.
At Balloon Cuts, we know that children do not like to sit still, so our stylists are able to work quickly and efficiently to make the haircutting experience a good one. If you have a favorite stylist, feel free to request her. All of our stylists are licensed and have plenty of experience with children.
We have customers of all ages, from infants to adults. We specialize in the difficult haircuts; kids immersed in the "terrible twos", kids and adults with special needs, and the always unpredictable first haircut. Most children cry during a haircut at least once, some from fear, some from general grumpiness. We try to soothe any fears, but we are not always successful and often it just takes time to make a haircut less frightening. Check our FAQ section for some hints on how to help your child cope with the new experience of a haircut.
Monday through Friday: 10 - 6:30
Saturday: 9 - 5:30
